Li had also turned, ready to go when she felt the fire of Roxy's ember strike her back. She stumbled forward, winching at the sudden pain as she spun around. Her eyes glanced at Blaze as he attacked in response, muttering softly when she saw the shine in Roxy's eyes. "Stupid..." It wasn't hard for her to figure out what happened; it was Roxy's ability. She knew little about abilities, but it was enough. "Don't use fire moves on her, anymore," she quickly said as she figured out what she was going to do. "Its just gonna power up her attack; which means it will be harder for us to fight."

As she spoke, Li ended up spreading her paws out, letting her claws slide out. Of course; she wasn't planning to use them but she had to be ready if it came to being close ranged. "It didn't need it to come to this, we could of left in peace" she sighed as she spoke; her eyes flicking sadly. "But if you wish to fight...Then so be it; let the best team win." She closed her eyes for a quick second, a pink glow overtook her body, and she opened up her eyes with a flash. Her ears shifted slight; as a wave of pink energy suddenly flashed out of her body; heading straight for Roxy.

Fire was swapped between Roxy and the, bird thing. As a weird pink energy went towards Roxy, Willow used her tiny wings and flew across the space between each other and rammed into the weird pokemon. She jumped back and waited for the Physic pokemon to get up.

Willow used Tackle on Li

Roxy blinked in shock as a sudden pink light waved over her, and she suddenly felt a sickening pain that made her head spin for a moment. Ow...What was that? She thought, the only growled in audible response. Before she could fight back, however, her good friend Willow had hopped in to help. With a smirk, the fox-pokemon turned to aim at their other opponent. You're going down!
She reared back and blasted more tiny balls of fire at the torchic, just a little stronger than before. His wince of a reaction only made her smile return.

Roxy used Ember on Blaze.

Blaze glanced at Li in surprise as she attacked back, and nodded in thanks. Although as soon as he turned back to face the two apparent enemies, the bat-like thing had attacked Li and the one with six tails already had more embers flying against him. He squeaked and winced in pain, shaking his feathers to try and get any clingy fires off. He glared up at the vulpix and went still, in a defensive position as his body gave off a gentle, yellow glow that gave his eyes a glimmer of confidence. He had located some weak spots. In other words, his critical-hit ratio just got a cool boost.

Li had been to focused on Roxy; she hadn't noticed the Noibat flying toward her until it was to late. As Willow stuck her, she cried out as she went rolling backwards. She winched from her spot on the ground, slowly pushed herself up. Her body was now covered in bruises from the tackle, but she manged to stand up.  Why were they fighting? She couldn't help but wonder that, but she didn't want to back down; the two didn't hadn't need to start this fight but if they wanted one...Well, Li supposed that she would give them one they wouldn't forget.

Her gaze flickered to Blaze as he was struck by the ember, but watched as he quickly shook it off and got ready to attack. Waiting for a turn? She supposed she couldn't object; if they had to fight she wanted this to be ended quickly and Blaze powering up would do just that. She turned her gaze back to the Pokemon that had attacked her, quickly figuring out what move would be most helpful.

When it came to attacking moves; she didn't have much choices. It was going to be her psychic move, or using claws. Of course, with the noibat being as close as she was, Li went for the simple option. With her claws unsheathed, she took in a deep breath before she raced forward toward Willow. There was a sad glint in her eyes as she reached the noibat and quickly slashed at her with her claws.

Claws scratched along her body and Willow backed up more. Glaring at the Espurr, she shot a green sting at the Espurr, and green energy came back to her. Feeling her health go up more than the earlier Zoobat, she realized it was super effective.

Roxy blinked at the torchic, wondering what the heck he was doing. Standing there, letting himself get hit? She ignored the glow, knowing he wasn't actually attacking yet. Coward, she thought with a huff of annoyance that he wasn't fighting back. She leaped at him, slashing emerging claws at his face and sending him reeling backwards.

Blaze's breath caught in his throat as he skidded backwards when claws dug into his face and pushed him back, raking against skin. He shook his head, glaring up at the vulpix. He let one foot slide back for momentum, then sped forward and let his own, stronger claws rake against his opponent's side as he leaped past her.

Ooc: Short battle posts because of other stuff >.<

Li's eyes widen as green string stuck her, taking some of her health. She let out a sharp cry as she stumbled backwards, slashing at the string to break it. Her body racked with pain as she fell onto one knee, gritting her teeth as she shook her head. With as worn as she was now, she knew that move was super-effective.

She took in a deep breath as she forced herself to stand up, but it was a bit shaky. Now that the noibat knew her weakness...This battle wasn't going to end good for her was it? She gritted her teeth as she fixed her gaze onto the noibat. She didn't even want to be in this stupid fight; she just wanted to leave peacefully but that vulpix had to attack them, hadn't she?

Li felt her ears shift as her body glowed pink once again in response to her building rage, and with a battle-cry she threw her paws forward, sending the wave of psychic energy at Willow. However, even as she attacked her large eyes sparkled sadly, still not really wanting to fight.

Gettin struck by the same pink energy Roxy did, Willow shook herself, but that made her even dizzier. Standing still for a few more moments, she screeched waves at Li. She was still slightly dizzy, but maybe this Espurr would become confused.

Willow used Supersonic on Li

Roxy made a sort of hissing sound, feeling painful claws rush across her side and leave deep marks. She flinched to the opposite side and growled lowly at Blaze, ears flattening. That had done a surprising amount of damage for a simple Scratch attack...Was it a critical hit somehow?
She found herself struggling slightly to get back to her paws to attack, and once she did, she stared up at Blaze, feeling a little weak in the eyes. She was using a move she wasn't used to, but felt it activating. Within seconds she had an adorable look on her face: head tilted slightly to the side, eyes wide with a puppy-like hope, ears down...Dang cute. It didn't take long for her to notice a slight change in the torchic's eyes, as if he seemed a little...Sad.

Blaze huffed, not really liking this whole fight idea. It was stupid, yet that dumb vulpix started it anyways. He glanced back, wondering how Li was doing, when he saw she was growing weaker. He blinked in surprise, wondering just how strong that little noibat was. When he looked back at his own enemy, he was even more surprised to see her looking innocent and maybe even a little scared; a major change from moments before. He suddenly felt a little bad...Was he doing more damage than he expected? More than she could handle?
Then he realized something: It was a ruse. She was lowering his Attack, damn it. Glaring at her once more, he rushed forward and clawed her across the ear this time, even though he still felt a little bad the while yet.

Li was watching the noibat with careful eyes after her attack stuck her. When she saw Willow screech at her, she quickly shut her ears as tight as she could as she dove to the side, trying to escape the screech. Hitting the ground, she rolled slightly but quickly recovered. She shook her head, but she smiled faintly as she realized that the move had missed her.

Li panted sightly from her spot, her eyes glaring at Willow. Shaking her head, she decided to use a move she tried not to use a lot, but found it came easy to her...Maybe because her eyes tended to creep some other Pokemon. She took a step forward, staring hard at Willow as she could in a way that could be said to be staring into somebody's soul.

Willow's Supersonic has missed Li.

Her head slowly clearing, Willow looked at the now glaring Espurr. Dang that thing was creepy, its eyes just....ugh. It shocked her, but then she glared right back and leaped forward. Landing almost right in front of the Espurr, she screeched again, this time being closer and probably just startling him. He shouldn't have anytime to dodge her attack.

Willow used surprise motherfucker Supersonic again on Li

Roxy yelped in surprise as claws hit her again, this time on her other side; though luckily it was much weaker than last time since it wasn't a critical hit and his Attack had been lowered, even if only a little. She growled, but it turned into a cough as she realized how weak she was getting from this fight. Yet, she refused to give up. This was her cave! It wasn't fair! She had just recently got it not long ago! If she lost now, she would lose it, right? That's how the rules worked! Why else were they battling?
The vulpix shook her head, doing her best to ignore the pain of the scratch-marks and blowing a fiery Ember attack at Blaze once more.

Blaze stepped back, ready for her next attack. However, it came quicker than he expected, and an ember ended up hitting him hard right in the fluffiest part of his feathers under his left wing. He made a sort of hissing noise as he felt the skin burn and the small fire sizzle out, leaving a painful sensation of burning there that would stay until it was treated. The torchic glared up at Roxy and ran at her again, not knowing any other move to use that would actually do damage. He slashed at the spot he had hit before, hitting yet another critical hit.

Willow was right, Li was far to close to dodge this supersonic. She winched as she stumbled backwards from the attack; not used to such loud noises, before blinking a few times. She shifted her ears in surprise by the fact that she was fine, before grinning. So much for trying to confused her.

Li responded to the attack by letting the pink glow overtake her body once again, before throwing out her paw and sending a wave of psychic energy at Willow. She did want this battle to end, but she was getting caught up in how fun it was, using her moves for fighting instead of just training...But she still held a distaste for harming others; it just wasn't right.

Once again being hit by that stupid pink energy, Willow flared with anger. Okay, no more trying to confuse, time to her him hard (sounds wrong). Shooting another green needle at the Espurr, she gained health back. She let out a screech (not a move) and watched the pokemon closely. She was on full alert now. As if she wasn't already with those giant ears.

Willow used Leach Life on Li. Supah effective

Roxy couldn't hold back a whimper from pain as she was hit yet again with a critical hit. That's it. She fell over, huffing and puffing tiredly. Her eyes rolled lazily to the side to look at how Willow was doing. She seemed to be struggling as well. Sorry, Willow... She thought, suddenly a little regretful for even starting the battle. She shouldn't have let instincts come over so easily. She should have assessed the situation more, and see if they even stood a chance in the first place. Which, by the way, they obviously didn't. Shutting her eyes, Roxy blacked out.

Blaze panted, pausing as he watched the enemy drop to the ground, unconscious. He...He won! It was over! But no, it wasn't. When he looked back at Li, she was far worse off than himself. Blaze had taken a decent amount of damage, yet Li looked like she took twice as much(which is totally possible since Li has more max hp than him I'm pretty sure). He was about to help, but stopped, realizing that more fighting would just worsen the situation. He wondered for a moment what to do.

As Li let out another sharp cry as the Leach Life struck her, she stumbled backwards. She watched as Blaze took out the Pokemon that had started the fight, but her heart sank. "Why are we...Even...Fighting?" Li said softly as she shook her head as Blaze turned to face her, but she felt her vision going black and her whole body going weak as the Leach Life took her energy. There was a small moan from Li as her feet gave out from under her, falling backwards onto the hard, rocky floor with a small thud as she fainted along with Roxy.

Watching her enemy faint, Willow started panting. Looking at Roxy, she saw that her partner had fainted also. She looked up at the only one left, the bird. Why were they fighting? They were leaving the cave, but they just wouldn't let them go. Eh, maybe she could joke around and let it be. "You wanna drag him out and ill drag her to her nest? Cause I don't wanna touch that weird thing more than I have to." she laughed lightly.

*forgets color*

Blaze snorted and glared at her. "Weird thing? First off that 'weird thing' is a she, not a he. And Li here didn't want to fight any more than you did. Look, I'll leave you two to your stupid cave if you let us leave in peace. Or as much 'peace' as we have left." He chattered angrily, then walked quickly over to his KO'd friend. He sighed sadly, hoping she wasn't too beat-up.
This whole battle was stupid. Why couldn't they have just left without hurting anyone? With a sideways glance at the vulpix who started it all, he realized that at least someone here got what they deserved. Blaze gently nudged Li and attempted to somehow roll her onto his tiny, but strong(-ish) back. After a few failed attempts, he finally got his friend onto his back and lowered his head so she wouldn't fall off. He glanced back at the noibat and nodded a quick and curt "farewell" before walking off out of the cave.

Huffing, Willow waited until the torchic was out of the cave, before taking Roxy and flapping a short distance to her nest. Nudging Roxy slightly, she tried to wake the pokemon, not really knowing how to deal with an injured pokemon. What should she do?'

Blaze gently laid his friend down on a patch of soft moss as soon as he was out of the tunnels. He sighed and plopped down, suddenly exhausted from the battle and previous climbing and then carrying Li...Damn. Was this normal for Pokemon here? There didn't seem to be any sure-safe places to call home. But nevermind that now.
"...Li?" Blaze murmured, and softly nudged his friend's arm with his beak.

Roxy shook her head slightly, dizzy and her vision fogged. "Wha...O-ow..." She muttered, a throbbing pain in her muscles and especially sides. There were claw-marks through her fur from that stupid Torchic, and were bleeding a little. Luckily it wasn't too bad. Roxy blinked several times and slowly looked up at Willow, her expression becoming confused. "Willow? You're okay? Where's the other two?" She asked, though stopes asking questions as a tired cough cut her off.

There was a soft moan from Li as she felt Blaze gently poke her arm with his beak. Her mind gently drifted back to her, but her first response was to raise her arm and gently tried to swat him away. While she was fine in some sense; the damage psychically she had suffered were mostly minor cuts and bruises from when the noibat had tackled her. However, she mostly suffered from a lack of energy to all of those Leach Life attacks; as they had taken more damage than normal due to her weakness. However, even with how tired she was she finally flickered open her eyes and stared at the sky.

Wait, the sky? She blinked once in surprise; realizing that they were out of the cave. She shifted on the soft piece of moss she was on, and turned her gaze to Blaze as her ears shifted slightly. She looked at Blaze with an amused look; which didn't really show due to how dead-pan her eyes almost always. "I suppose...The battle was a tie?" she said with a small smirk, before shaking her head from where she was laying, trying to shake off the weariness. "Ugh..." she moaned as she rubbed her cheek fur with one of her white-tipped paws. "So tired...Stupid...Bug type move."

"Oh im fine. I beat my opponent. But we just stopped fighting and the torchic dragged his friend out of the cave." she chirped, glad that her friend was at least awake and talking.

Ic: Roxy rolled her eyes in a playful manner and rolled onto her back, not bothering to get up since she still lacked so much energy. "Lucky you. Dang bird, clawing my skin off over here." She huffed, though seemed happy anyways. After all, they were out of the cave with a few marks to remember, right? Though she supposed that she can't really complain about the battle since she started it in the first place. Whatever. "I blame them for ignoring my scent and coming into the cave anyways though. Seriously, I just marked the borders to this place last night! How could they miss it..?" Okay, again she shouldn't blame them, but she was in no way ready to admit she was wrong. Her first fight and she had lost. After all that training, she had lost! Well, at least Willow had won her fight with that...thing with the big, creepy eyes. Roxy rolled back onto her side and looked at her friend with a small yawn. "Well, anyways, I'm pretty beat now. You know that small stash of berries I was talking about? There should be some oran berries with them as well. They're over behind that rock. There." She flicked her tail towards a few rocks that formed a ring, and a slightly larger, rounder boulder blocking the opening between them. There was a thick rock jutting out of the wall that acted as a roof over the stash, so that you couldn't see the berries hiding under unless you moved that round boulder. Luckily, it wasn't too big, though Roxy wasn't sure how strong Willow's "arms" were. But if they could get some oran berries out here, that could help restore their energy a lot faster.

Blaze sighed in relief. "Glad you're not too badly injured. You can rest here if you want." He responded, happy to see she was okay...Or you know, not dying. He himself was definitely tired, with several though minor burn marks on his body. Wait, what about that one--Ow! He thought as he tried to lift one of his tiny wings. It was burnt pretty badly underneath, and was still sapping energy from him with that burning sensation that just wouldn't go away. But they were on a mountain in the middle of the desert. Where the heck would they find water, let alone a rawst berry, which was known for healing burns where he came from?

Li glanced from Blaze from where she was laying, raising an eyebrow when she saw the flash of pain that spread across his face as he moved one of his wings. She forced herself to sit up, even with how tired she was and looked at the burned area of feathers with a small frown. That wasn't good at all. "Resting sounds fine," she muttered softly as she gently titled her head sideways. "But we will need to cure that burn before I am willing to do that."
