Adventures in the woods

A small young Zoura hopped though the trees, carefully landing on roots before bounding to another one. A small snicker escaped the dark type as she landed on the ground, her eyes turned upwards toward the forest. Her tail flickered as she watched a bird Pokemon fly between the branches, but what kind of Pokemon the bird was escaped her. She grinned, and shut her eyes. The young Zoura took in a deep breath, trying to let her powers flow though her as she pictured the bird she had seen in her mind. A minute of hard work later, she opened her eyes and looked down at herself. To her sorrow, she found herself still in her normal form. She sat down with a defeated sigh. Sooner or later she would get control over her illusion ability, but being only a baby Zoura still, she couldn't blame herself.

A purple, human-like Pokemon stared down at the Zourua. An eerie giggle floated down through the tree tops, and leaves rustled. The Sableye was half-sliding half-climbing down the tree, and once close enough to the ground, he jumped onto the dirt. "Who're you" his eerie, high-pitched voice asked smoothly.

Alora hopped to her feet the moment she heard the giggle, and whipped her head around as she tried to figure out where it came from. When she finally saw the Sableye, she let out a small yip of surprise. However, she quickly dropped to a crouch and growled at the new-comer as she let her tail move from side to side. "No! W-Who you!" she manged to squeak, clearly not very used to it.

"I'm Manue." He replied, his gem eyes glittering slightly. "Who're you?

Alora puffed up her chest, happy having gotten the name out of the Sableye. "Alora!" she said, her tail lashing from side to side. "Why you here?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. As far as she cared, the whole forest belonged to her, although it could be seen as nothing more than her playground to the young Zoura.
