From Pup to Power [LVL]

The sun peaked through the thick clouds surrounding the middle of the tower(which was pretty high up), shining a few faint rays of light into the rocky, worn and foreboding room in which a large, green serpent slept. Chain slowly lifted his head from the coiled form he slept in, much like a snake, and looked out of the window-like holes in the walls, realizing it was morning already. He glanced down at the sleeping form of his adopted son, Toddy, who was much smaller than he and seemed out of place sleeping in a rough room such as this. Let alone with a huge rayquaza, terror of the skies. Though Chain couldn't help but smile faintly at the poochyena's adorable, sleeping form. Too bad he'd have to wake him for a day of relentless training, just as he had warned the pup.
Chain gently nudged Toddy with a softness no one else would ever feel from the dragon, willing him to awaken. "MORNING IS HERE, TODDY." He rumbled, and unraveled himself from his coiled-up resting position. He effortlessly lifted himself into the air, levitating with the mysterious force that was magnetic energy. "IT'S TIME TO BECOME STRONGER."
